Chinese incursions in Arunachal Pradesh and Ladakh are aimed more at disturbing India's peace than fulfilling china's ambition of expanding it's territorial control ( Tuning into china's changing india mood, october 23). China is jealous of india's growth and our steady rise in the international arena. It envies our democratic setup and feels threatened by our cordial relations with the US and other developed economies. A war between the two nations will affect india more than china. So, we should refrain from a direct conflict at all costs.
